To His Diamond and Gold
Never belittle the trials of the weak
who, on his twenty-ninth’ pace
calls at the banter from your face
that see no star sparkles but glitters
in tears, wiped away in awful display
of your handkerchief!

As a poet, you must be versatile to what you write. You must accept the herculean ask given to you as the purpose of your existence. You must write without taking away lies from truth; without taking away reality from opinion. I know, writing poetry is the magnificent kindness that your heart gives you to heal your world, ‘world’, and our world at large, but you too should give your heart what you wish to give the world that surrounds you.
Poetry is World
Poem is Word
Poet is Lord
Whilst critics are Laws.
Be the Lord over your piece, allow each line of your poem portrays your poetry, So the laws guiding the universe guide you as well, lest you forget WHO YOU ARE! (selah).
